Milton Keynes South
Milton Keynes South is a new constituency, which will be contested for the first time at the General Election on 06 May 2010, as a result of changes made by the independent Boundary Commission.
Every 10-15 years the Boundary Commission makes adjustments to the boundaries of Parliamentary constituencies to make sure that the number of electors in each is as equal as possible. In Milton Keynes, they have made some adjustments to the existing Milton Keynes South West and North East Milton Keynes seats.
Your new seat is called Milton Keynes South. It is similar to the previous Milton Keynes South West seat but without Wolverton, Oldbrook, Peartree Bridge and Woughton-on-the-Green (which move into the new Milton Keynes North). The Walton Park and Danesborough wards move into Milton Keynes South from Milton Keynes NE.
